Cost/lane(+bd)-foot is the cost of each foot of each lane including assumed number of breakdown lanes.

2-4 lanes assumes one breakdown on each side for a total of 6 lanes

More than four lanes assumes divided directions with a total of 4 breakdown lanes.

Last line is a crude estimate of the expected cost of the I5 bridge based on length, 10+4 lanes at an assumed cost of $12 per lane-foot.  $12 is a guess at a typical cost of the wider bridges in this survey.

IT IS A VERY ROUGH ESTIMATE - $594, round off to $600 million.

Another rough estimate can be obtained by inflation adjusting the cost of the I205 bridge:

From: http://www.nobridgetolls.com/I205.html inflation adjust that 2010 estimate to 2020:  $466 million.

These two estimates are roughly the same: $500-600 million. If built with a profile like the current bridge pair (with a lift) there should be no added expense connecting it to the existing roads. There may be more for a lift and for changes to the railroad bridge to reduce lifts to a few a week.
