Your poll makes it seem we can stop tolls. That is not the case. Oregon is tolling no matter what. Bridge or NO bridge.

2022 Candidates’ positions on I5 bridge tolls & light rail

“various sources” is the result of looking at candidate’s web pages and news sources.        “Pledges Received” means the response to our email asking for a pledge.

Candidate list/party from https://voter.votewa.gov/CandidateList.aspx?e=876&c=06          or in a brief interview.

Notes:

“No Response” indicates that no response was received. We will be contacting these people again.

“Refused” means candidate refused to pledge in a brief interview.

“No Position” indicates that a response was received taking no position on that issue.

Comments are a shortened attempt to capture sense of any comments they made.

It is our belief that most of the “No Response” are from candidates that would vote for tolls / light rail when given the opportunity.

Three county councilor candidates who said county has no control were sent emails reminding them that two county councilors are on C-Tran’s board of directors and three are on the Regional Transportation Council, both of whom are decision makers on the project. None replied.
